About me
Brenda Marie Yeager is the Poet Laureate of Lake County, CA (2024-2026). Her poetry has won several prizes, including as a finalist for the 2022 Jane Underwood Poetry Prize, judged by Sharan Strange. She is published online in Noyo Review and The Bloom and in print in the RESILIENCE and RESTORE chapbooks, which she also co-edited. Brenda co-hosts New Darlings, a monthly online conversation about contemporary poets (please join us, all are invited!) and is currently searching for Lake County's first Youth Poet Laureate.
