About me
Judy Bertelsen has been writing poetry pretty much all of her life. She grew up on a small farm in the San Joaquin Valley and made her way to Berkeley as an undergraduate. A number of her poems have been published in journals and anthologies, including the Seneca Review, the Community of Writers anthology, Westview, Pennsylvania English, and the Marin Poetry Center anthology. She has participated in a variety of writing workshops, including Catamaran, the Community of Writers, Tin House, Napa Valley Writers’ Conference, and the Surprise Valley Writers’ Conference. She serves on the Board of the Marin Poetry Center and currently resides in Berkeley.
