Susan E. Gunter, Ph.D.
,,, is a Professor of English Emerita. Her poems are published in journals in America, Bulgaria, England, Montenegro, and Sweden. Her poetry reviews have appeared in many journals. Her biography of William James’s wife Alice, Alice in Jamesland, received an eight-page glowing review in The New York Review of Books. She did three Fulbrights in the Balkans, teaching poetry and creative writing. In 2004-2005, she was a fellow in American literature at Harvard College’s Houghton Library. Susan is also an artist.
